Because the hype was so overwhelming I went in expecting it to be better than CR and it wasn't even close. Skyfall is probably where I'm going to come off most contreversial but I really don't think much of this film.

But overall the film just doesn't feel very 'smart' it's not a stupid film by any stretch of the imagination but I didn't find it engrossing, or wanting to think over the scenes after it ended. Quantum of Solace is the only film out of the sequel to keep a consistent tone with the first film, and with that I can appreciate what the film is. It casts a very large shadow but I still think with that in mind, the other 4 films are lacklustre in their own ways. I should probably Clarify that when I say Casino Royale is 'very good' I mean it's my favourite Bond Film, and I personally think it's one of the greatest action films of all time up near Die Hard and Bourne. I don't know what the consensus is among this sub, but after recently watching NTTD I wanted to share my thoughts on Craig's run as a whole.
